Academic publishing and research funding
We are pleased to invite you to a special masterclass with Professor Rob Kitchin.
This session provides a unique opportunity for early and mid-career scholars to engage directly with Professor Kitchin, a renowned expert in the fields of critical data studies, digital geographies, and critical theory, on practical aspects of academic publishing and research methodologies. Professor Kitchin has been the (managing) editor of four academic journals, two book series, published books with 17 different academic publishers, and also published fiction. He has received funding for over 50 projects and served on the Board of the Irish Research Council and is chair of an ERC starting grant panel.
It is styled as an open Q&A where you will have the chance to ask Professor Kitchin specific questions related to your own work and future ambitions.
This masterclass precedes the DATA LIFE conference held on November 5. For more details about the conference.
To confirm your participation, write to kam@hum.ku.dk by 30 October. Limited seating available.
Coffee and cake will be served.
We look forward to your participation!
