Applications for external funding 

The information on this website is aimed at the recurrent annual calls for external funding you can apply for with hosting at  the Department of Arts and Cultural Studies (IKK). If you wish to apply for funding through other calls please send the call text and relevant information to the department's research support unit at ikk-forsk@hum.ku.dk in due time and no later than 2 months before the call deadline. 

Annual calls

When annual calls are announced, you will be able to read more about the opportunities available and application deadlines on the following pages.

The Novo Nordisk Foundation: We are now accepting in-house applications for  hosting for the 2026 Novo Nordisk Foundation calls for research in art and art history. The in-house deadline for applications for hosting is 11 November 2025 at 2 pm. Please observe the guidelines for hosting applications through this web page.

Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships: The deadline for the annual call is medio September 2025, the in-house deadline for supervisors to hand in expression of interest together with a postdoctoral candidate is on February 2025. Find more information on the process and how to engage in potential collaborations on this website .
