Thursday Salon
The IKK Thursday Salons are informal seminars where IKK's research clusters present new research and invite participants informally to engage in criticism and development of ideas. The purpose of the salons is also to give students and friends of IKK a chance to follow and participate in current research at the department. The research clusters host the Thursday Salons along with Roland Bar.
Activism, research and art
In a historical situation characterized by an ongoing genocide in Gaza, the war in Ukraine and multiple crises, not least the destruction of the climate, it has again become important to discuss the relationship bewteen scientific research, art and activism. By looking at three specific historical situations members from the Global Entanglements research cluster will enable a discussion of the necessity of situating oneself as a researcher and artist in political aesthetic conflicts, historical and present.
You will be able to buy drinks in the Roland Bar. The seminar is held in English.
