Three new chapbooks in Kunsten som forum på tryk

The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in collaboration with Art as Forum and New Carlsberg Foundation's research Centre at University of Copenhagen present three new contributions to the series Kunsten som forum på tryk.

Chapbooks, Kunsten som Forum

The Series invites Danish-speaking readers into ongoing conversations about art and its communities in the broadest sense. This takes the form of the publication of the Centre's lecture series, where both local and international researchers and artists contribute with new knowledge about the diverse forms of communities.

Chapbook number 4, 5 and 6 in the series are written by Nishant Shah, Linda Hilfling Ritasdatter and Nora Sternfeld, and in different ways, they treat the political realities in which both people and art exist today. These texts are concerned with identifying the underlying ways in which digital technology is used to support the world order in which we and today's art institutions are enrolled. And these are texts that seek to motivate the frameworks and algorithms for true and committed communities.

Art as a Forum in print focuses on the community at a time when upheaval, isolation and war are part of breaking down familiar alliances, and where digitisation is reshaping our ability to meet again.

The series is published in a lightweight pocket size for anyone who wants to gain a deeper insight into today's cultural science landscape.

The editions can be ordered online and are available at Kunsthal Charlottenborg.
