Since 1998 Peter Duelund has been a member of the scientific committee of the international cultural policy research network International Conference on Cultural Policy Research (ICCPR). Every second year the network organizes an international scientific conference on cultural policy on a recognized university inside or outside Europe. The first conference was organized at University of Copenhagen in 1997. The latest conference, ICCPR 2008, was organized in Istanbul, Turkey in August 2008 with participation of researchers from all over the world. Peter Duelund was responsible for the preparation and holding of the conference's summarizing debate on Identity and Nationalism in European Cultural Policy.
